One travels on the Motorway A3 in direction of the Sorrentine Penisular, leaving at the exit of Castellamare di Stabia, if one comes from North one finds the exit immediately after that of Pompeii. While if one comes from South, its is after that of Scafati-Pompeii
From the exit of Castellamare di Stabia one follows the panoramic State(main)road, in the direction of Sorrento and after the third tunnel, one arrives at SEIANO. Passing under the railway bridge and past Seiano station entrance, after several bends, one sees on the left hand side, indication for Hotel Moon Valley, immediately after wich, on the left is, the road for AROLA and Monte Faito.
One continues along the winding main road, Via Raffaele Bosco about 5 kms upwards, past the hamlets of Pacognano, Fornacelle and Alberi, until one comes to the indication for AROLA. Arriving at the Farmacia (Chemist-Pharmacy) on the right, one takes the second turning on the right, Via A.Biffi and at the crossroads, one turns right again into Via Buonocore. Our Bed and Breakfast is to be found at approximately 300 mts. along Via Buonocore, past Bar Buonocore, at N° 61.
By Train
Having arrived at Naples-Napoli Centrale Piazza Garibaldi State Railway Station, one must travel by the CIRCUMVESUVIANA rail, (to be found under the main station) acquiring appropiate tickets in advance and taking only the SORRENTO direction trains, wich connect Naples with the Sorrentine Penisular. Trains are about every 40 minutes. The journey from Naples to VICO EQUENSE is about 1 hour, from wich one can take the Circumvesuviana (orange) bus Circolare Destra journey time about 30 minutes or Circolare Sinistra, a slighty longer journey about 45 minutes, until one arrives at AROLA. The same tickest purchased in Naples for the Circumvesuviana train are also valid for the bus to Arola. Please remember to obliterate tickets on boarding trains and buses.
By Air
Naples Capodichino Airport is about 50 kms. from the Bed and Breakfast - Villa Ursa Major. The airport is connected to the major Italian and European cities by various airlines, wich offer interesting travel packets.
The most comfortable and economical way to reach the Sorrentine Penisular from the airport is to take the public CURRERI bus wich runs six times daily connecting the airport with Vico Equense (Piazza Kennedy) and Sorrento. The bus is to be found at the exit of the ARRIVALS - Terminal of the airport and tickets can be purchased on the bus
From Vico Equense one should go back along the road to the station and take the (orange) Circumvesuviana bus, purchasing in advanced the bus ticket within the station and obliterating it on the bus (Circolare Destra 1st choice, Circolare Sinistra 2nd choice) for Arola.
By Bus
The public bus "Marozzi", leaves from Rome Tiburtina Station twice a day, (tickets to be purchased at the station, but it is advisable to pre-book through travel agents in advance, particulary in high season) and connects the city with the Sorrentine Penisular.
It stops in Vico Equense (Piazza Kennedy) and takes about 2 hours. On arrival one can take the orange Circumvesuviana bus as indicated above
